This grant was created by collecting donated publications from area art institutions, and selling them as one library (which included over 100 publications from 10 different art spaces). The Collective Library was sold to the San José ICA for their new reading room in July! Thank you SJICA!

This $500 grant is made possible through the combination of three related Collective Foundation initiatives. The donation, by YBCA, of memberships sold during the exhibition opening reception (=$110), a part of the sales at the Co-op Bar (=$230), and a part of the sales from the CF Pod Press (=$160).

Instead of paying $100 to an Internet company every year, artist-funders host their website on the CF server and pay this yearly fee into a fund. They then nominate an artist and become the jury for a grant.
